Bridgerton in Nigeria? Lol.
Nigerian author Chibundo Onuzo’s first children’s book, “Mayowa and the Sea of Words”, was recently narrated by Bridgerton actress, Adjoa Andoh, and published by Bloomsbury Children’s Books five days ago.
Interestingly, the story highlights the lack of Black and African children in adventure narratives Onuzo experienced growing up.
Sounds like an interesting one, what do you think?
